Due to its planning history and past uses, this derelict industrial site had an Area TPO protecting trees growing within the site.
After the first site visit at the first design meeting we were able to raise the number of units by 25% by putting forward a strategy that removed 2 large tree related constraints and allowed a complete redesign of the proposed layout.
Ruskins worked for several months on this project, addressing the arboricultural and woodland management issues associated with a site which, in addition to residential and commercial development, was going to provide a nature reserve which would be managed by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
We have been retained by the prospective developer to continue dealing with the arboricultural and woodland management issues as the date for works commencing on this site nears.
